Match 3 games continue to captivate Australian mobile users, with several titles showing strong performance on the iOS platform during the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the trends of these puzzle giants.

Royal Match by Dream Games maintained a steady stream of revenue, peaking at nearly $320K and dipping to around $290K throughout the quarter. Downloads began at 21K in the first week of January and saw a gradual decrease to 12K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at 177K but experienced a slight uptick, finishing the quarter at 184K.

King's Candy Crush Saga also showcased consistent revenue, hovering around $300K weekly, with a noticeable rise to $310K in the final week of March. Downloads for the game fluctuated, beginning at 10K and reaching up to 9K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users were fairly stable, with a starting point of 95K and concluding at 96K.

Playrix's Gardenscapes saw revenues ranging from $148K to $158K. The game's downloads showed a decline from 5K in the new year week to around 2.7K in the last week of March, while weekly active users oscillated between 59K and 55K.

Another Playrix title, Fishdom, generated revenues between $90K and $110K. Downloads for Fishdom began at 15K and ended at 4K, with weekly active users starting at 67K and slightly decreasing to 56K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Homescapes also by Playrix, recorded revenues that varied from $86K to $102K. Downloads saw a significant drop from 5.5K to just over 1.4K, while the weekly active users presented a dip initially from 43K to 33K, but recovered to 35K in the final week of March.
